Day 1
MONDAY 13th
Firstly, we had to arrive at the Haller Schwimmbad at half past 11, from where we left to
Munich by coach.
It took us about 2 hours to get there. Then we had to wait half an hour for the counters to
open, which was okay as opposed to the following waiting times. Afterwards the whole security
and check-in progress started, which took until about 15:50. At 16:05 we boarded our plane,
which took us to London. We took off at 16:35 – it was a great experience, especially for those,
who went by plane the first time. Finally, after an approximately one and a half hour’s flight,
we arrived at London Stanford Airport. At about seven we reached the meeting-point in
Cambridge where some taxis picked us up and took us to our host-families.
We're looking forward to the guided tour through Cambridge, which is tomorrow.

MUNICH AIRPORT
This is the first day of our school trip to England: We, the classes 5a and 5b met at the swimming pool at Hall. We left at 11:30 for Munich Airport by coach. There we arrived two hours later. Then we checked in and got onto our plane. The flight took us about two hours until we finally arrived at Stansted Airport in London. There our taxis picked up each of us and took us to our host families. We, Katharina and Susanne had to change our family because the first had a cat and Susanne is allergic to cats. But now we are at a very nice and friendly family.
