Day 5

Today on May 7th, we spent our second day in London. The morning started early, or better said VERY early.

After 1 ½ hour’s bus ride, we finally arrived at the very iconic CAMDEN MARKET. It is a very friendly and colourful place full of various shops. The atmosphere was incredible and I’m sure everyone found something he or she likes.

Our next stop were the HARRY POTTER STUDIOS, which offfered us a behind-the-scenes viwe of how the film were made. The biggest highlight was at the beginning when the screen went up and the gates to the Great Hall opened! It was really breathtaking. The sets were incredible and so well designed. It made you feel as though you were a part of the magical Harry Potter world, which was so surreal!

Unfortunately, there are a few classmates who don’t like Harry Potetr or who don’t know anything about him. So it wasn’t that interesting to them. But this studio tour is a mist for all Harry Potter fans out there.

At 5.00 p.m. we started our ride back home. We all were very tired because of a very exhausting day. We are looking forward to what will happen next!

Today was a really exciting day. At first we met early in the morning  at the bus stop on East Road. After a one-hour road trip we arrived at our destination and our teachers gave us two hours time to explore Camden Market.

Our friends and we spent our time by buying gifts for our families and friends. After a while we found a lot of food from different cultures and we also tried some since it looked very delicious. Then we met again with our groups and the bus took us to the Warner Brothers Studios.

As we were getting closer a lot of our classmates were getting really excited owing to the fact that they are huge Harry Potter fans. After three quarters of an hour we finally arrived and our tour started. At first we had a little presentation of the Making of the Harry Potter movies.

After the video we had the chance to see a variety of all the sets and customs actually used in production. We took loads of pictures and then we were able to buy some souvenirs in the fan shop.

Although not everyone is a fan of Harry Potter, it was still a nice experience.
