LAST DAY AT EC SCHOOL

Day 9

In the morning we had to catch the bus at 7:30 a.m. so that we wouldn't be late for our last day at EC-school. Our teacher Mark had to leave after the first lesson and therefore another teacher named Emma took over.
As it was our last day the lesson ended a little earlier and we all got a so-called "certificate of studies" with our names and language level on it and a diploma from english&more. We also took a photo receiving these documents.

After having a lunch break as usual, we met up with our teachers in front of King's College in order to go on a tour guided by our language teacher Mark. He showed us some of the colleges and told us some very interesting facts about them e.g. about the libraries and how students spend their time at the colleges' courts.
Furthermore, we visited a small exhibition called "Discarded history - the Genizah of medieval Cairo" and we were shown the university with its various buildings that look really different since they weren't built at the same time as the historic Colleges.

Again we split up to have some more free time , which most of us spent in the city centre, and at about 5 o'clock we went to King's College Chapel in order to listen to the Evensong. We were able to listen to the boys’choir and it was absolutely beautiful. Moreover, the church was amazingly stunning to look at, especially the stained glass windows and the ceiling with its detailed ornaments.

It was another fun day in Cambridge and hopefully our last days are going to be as awesome as the time we have spent until now!
