Day 6

Today we woke up at 7 a.m. in order to get ready for the day. After breakfast we took the bus and met some friends on the way to EC-school. When we arrived there, the lesson began. The topics we talked about with our teacher Mark were very interesting and we learned so many new words and phrases!

As the school ended, the teachers gave us some spare time to spend it with friends in the city. So we decided to eat lunch and time passed by very fast.

Since we were told to meet at Parker’s Piece to play cricket there, we became quite excited and looked forward to doing this typically English sport. We had a really good time playing although it was pretty cold and afterwards we went punting.

The location was so incredibly beautiful and then the weather was actually ok (it didn't even rain, so we were totally lucky). We made teams of six and therefore David, Anna-Maria, Katja, Tamara and the two of us formed one group. David was the one who actually punted and since he is pretty strong we floated very fast and nearly saw the whole canal!

Unfortunately, we heard that Johanna had fallen into the water. Luckily, she had some spare clothes to change into. We hope that she won't get sick because the water was really cold. Nevertheless, it was still a unique experience that we will never forget!

After we were done punting, our teacher said that we can do what we want now so we decided to go to Starbucks and drink some coffee. It was really cozy owing to the fact that we were finally somewhere warm. A short bus ride later we were at home and relaxed for a bit.

We are sure that we will sleep very well tonight since it was such an active day.
