Day 7

Starting the day at 6 o’clock in the morning yawning and quite tired, we realised we had to go to school. So we hopped on the bus and there we luckily met Lorenz and Leon. Together we passed some time until we had to leave the bus at St. Andrews Street. We walked through the park straight ahead to Little Waitrose, which is a supermarket, where we bought something to drink. Afterwords, we strolled to EC School where we walked upstairs to our classroom as Mark, the teacher, was already waiting for us. Later on, we ate some lunch in our new favourite restaurant. We love that food!

In the afternoon we went to Duxford by bus. Duxford Imperial War Museum mainly hosts aeroplanes built for war. We had enough time to look at all the different aeroplane models. We walked around in small groups in which we were able to look at the exhibition pieces in detail. In our group we had a lot of fun and it couldn’t have been any better due to fact that it was jolly interesting. There were several hangars with different themes like aircraft or air and sea. Sadly, the 8th hangar with the tanks was closed. Therefore we weren’t able to see that part of the exhibition.

At about 16:45 our coach took us back to Cambridge. Nearly everyone listened to music since everybody was too tired to talk. When we arrived in Cambridge most of us went home immediately and the others decided to stay longer in town. We were two of those who went home because we finally wanted to write this report...
