Day 1
FLIGHT To England
On April 11th we went to the Airport Innsbruck around 2.00 p.m. to start our trip to England.
Everyone was really excited and for some people it was their first flight.
After we had passed the safety check, we had to wait a bit bevor we could board the plane. It took us almost 2 hours to arrive at Heathrow Airport in London
After we had picked up our luggage, we had to wait for the coach which took us to Cambridge. Two more hours until we got to Cambridge.
When we finally reached the place, it was really cold but we had to wait for our taxis which took us directly to our host families.
Everyone was really excited to meet up with their family!

Today was the day we had been looking forward to since 1st grade, so you can imagine how excited we actually were.
The day began with us all gathering at the Airport Innsbruck and checking in. Sadly, we couldn’t choose who we wanted to be our neighbours on the airplane, still we had some fun especially because now it was kind of a mystery that had to be solved to find out who we were sitting next to.
After the 2-ours flight, we finally arrived at the famous London Airport Heathrow. We were amazed by the differences between home and London.
After a classmate had disappeared, a lot of time went into finding him, but we all were pretty relieved when we spotted him again. Finally we got to the coach. Since it was a double-decker, we all wanted to sit on top, so there was some kind of mess but despite the little mess we still could handle it.
It was a long, exhausting 2-3 hours ride, without either food nor drinks and as we all couldn’t really sleep because of the noise, I think we all were pretty happy to have finally arrived at our guest families, because we were desperate about some sleep.
Even though we were on the first taxi that arrived, we still were one of the last ones to go to bed because we still had to write this entry.
