Day 10

ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE

WALK TO GRANTCHESTER

TEATIME

Our almost last day in England started with sleeping until half past nine. It was the very first day we didn't meet at this time at EC School so we could sleep longer. My friends and I arrived on Mill Lane at about eleven o clock and we bought something for our families in the shops of Cambridge until 12. At 12'15 we started our walk to the Orchard Garden. After a one hour walk we finally reached the garden and it was very, very hot. When we passed the gate we were totally exhausted. We then were supposed to sit down in shadows of the trees where we almost fell asleep. Many of us bought something to eat and drink because we weren't allowed to bring up our own lunch and finally Marion spilled half of her Coke. After we (or at least one of us) had eaten scones and drunk tea, we were set out to go home. Then at about 16 o clock we had the possibility to climb St Marys Tower but most of us didn't want and went home for packing. The people, who every day went home on the same bus as me, bought waffles and we had a really funny ride home.
