Day 7
ANOTHER CAMBRIDGE DAY
bushy-tailed and bright-eyed just ready for the day
We got up around 7:00 a.m., which was really early so we were pretty tired. After we had got ready for the day, we had breakfast with our host family. They prepared everything for us and we had cereals, toast, orange juice, tea and coffee. At 8:10 a.m. we left the house and walked to our EC school. Although it was a windy day the sun was still shining. On this day one group had another teacher and her name was Ana. Unfortunately Felix P turned up late because a pigeon had done his business on his head. At EC school we had a lot of fun and at 11:45 a.m. our lessons were over. After lunch, at 13:50, we went to the meeting point on East Road where our head teacher Mr. Hofmann (who by the way had a really nice hairstyle on that day), our English teachers Mrs. Filipiak, Ms. Lebitsch and Mrs. Mair were already waiting for us. A hired coach took us to the Duxford Imperial Aviation Museum. It took us about 20 minutes to get there. We saw many airplanes, for example, the British European Airways or Dan-Air London, and we also tried out an airplane simulator and it was quite exciting. After that Felix P. and Valentin P., 2 students from 5A, went shopping with Mrs. Filipiak for her daughter and we found that really hilarious. In the evening Mr. Hofmann’s class had dinner with Mrs. Filipiak at Charlie’s. Mrs. Mair’s group had dinner at Honest and Ms. Lebitsch’ group had already had lunch together at midday. Thanks to our teachers for this evening. After dinner we walked home and at 10 p.m. we went to bed.

WAITING FOR THE COACH TO DUXFORD
DUXFORD IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM
Our day started very early. Mona and I got up at 6 in the morning, because we had to take the bus to EC school. On our way to the bust station we surprisingly met Prof. Hofmann with his host mother, who was driving along the street. The school started at 8.30 as usually this week and we talked about journeys and travelling with our teacher Ollie, who is also a foodblogger. The lessons are very interesting and funny so you never get bored. After school Mona and I went to Subways with the others and we had much fun.
In the afternoon we met with our teachers at a bus station and went by coach to the Imperial Aviation War Museum Duxford in Cambridge. You can see there many types of bombers, which were used during the World Wars 1 and 2, different types of weapons like guns and other stuff. It was very interesting but also frightening because we could comprehend how it was like to live in Britain during the wars. For me, this trip was very enriching and I really learned a lot.
After Duxford we moved with our coach back to the city of Cambridge and some of us went shopping. Then we found out that Prof. Hofmann and Prof. Filipiak had reserved a table for our class at a pizzeria named Charlie`s and the pizzas tasted soo good there. On this point I would like to say a big thank you to our teachers, which made our journey to England such a big adventure. At 8 in the evening Mona and I moved back with Kathi and Emma to our host family by public transport. It was really late when we arrived at our house, because we had to go through a big, scary park after having missed our first bus.
All in all, it was a very cool day.
