COLD AND RAINY CAMBRIDGE
Day 2
Today we got up at 7 o’clock. Our host mother prepared cornflakes for breakfast and explained us how to come home in the evening. In our host family there is another student from Thailand and he showed us the way to the bus stop. The ride to town took us about 30 minutes and the weather wasn’t so good. At 9:30 we met up at the Drummer Street Bus Station, but two boys had taken the bus an hour too late so we had to wait for them for one hour.
Then we had a really interesting tour of the colleges and learned a bit about the history of Cambridge , but it was so freezing cold outside. After the tour we had 2 hours to get lunch and we went to a really good burger restaurant. At 13:45 we met up again at the Cambridge Market and then went to school with the teachers. There we had to wait again because they had to read out the groups. Our teacher in school is very cool and it’s fun to learn so much Englisch. At 17:45 school finished and Frau Professor Mair explained what we would have to do the other day. When we entered the bus, we saw that we were on the wrong bus. We rushed off at the train station and luckilz spotted the Citi1 bus to Arbury. At home we got dinner and then we had a really nice conversation with the host mother about 1 hour and 30 minutes. At 1 o’clock we went to bed.

AT EC-SCHOOL
Today was the first real day in England. We started with having breakfast at 08:00 a.m. We had cornflakes, orange juice and chocolate Croissants. We left the house at 8:10 a.m. to catch the bus at 8:25 a.m. Our host-mother accompanied us to the bus stop. We were told to get off the bus on Drummer Street but we didn‘t know where that was so we missed out the bus stop. We passed by the St Paul’s church and Emmanuel Street that is near Drummer Street Bus Station. After a few minutes we realised that we were going in the wrong direction so we got off the bus and had to walk the way back to the station where Mrs. Mair picked us up. After that we had a guided tour of Emmanuel College. A nice lady showed and explained us how the students live, where they eat and she even showed us the back yard. We got some food at 12:00. The teachers told us to meet up at Guildhall at 13:45. We went around and bought some things at the market, but it was cold outside. At 14:30 we started our classes at EC-school. Our teachers in EC-school are really friendly and we have a lot of fun.
